This a great wooden recipe box that has been covered with one of our exclusively designed custom papers.  

 

The paper was designed to be reminiscent of the City of Paris.  The bottom paper is a cream and black distressed harlequin accented with deep rose swirls.  The top is taken from an antique French manuscript and it is topped with a beautiful watercolor Garnet colored rose, a stunning butterfly and vintage French stamps from my own collection.

Although we are calling this a recipe box it could be used as a trinket box to hold keys or as a decor item.  It will hold 3" x 5" recipe cards.

We will personalize the inside lid with a label that is made with coordinating paper. You can choose the wording you want on the label.

The edges are inked for a distressed look and coated all over with a seal to protect them from water. (Please only use a damp cloth to wipe them down - do not immerse in water)

• Wooden box measures 4 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" deep and 6 1/2" wide (outside demensions)
• The bottom half of the box is covered in cream and black harlequins

• The top is covered in vintage French manuscript paper and topped with Parisian ephemera
• The inside is painted black with a personalized label on the inside lid.
• The edges are inked to give it a distressed look.
• The piece is decoupaged and sealed for protection.
