Marie Antoinette Boudoir Box
You won't find anything else like this anywhere as we created it as an exclusive design. This fabulous new box has a cover that lifts from the bottom of the box with a stunning glass handpainted bead floral handle. The lid is covered in pastel pink, green and white stripes covered with gold fleur-de-lis's. Surrounding the floral handle are strips of sheer soft pink, green and white ribbon and a pink mini boa. Each side of the lid has strings of pearls with a pink or clear rhinestone jewel. The paper on this box is our exclusive design. Each side of the box has a different collage design that was meticulously created by us. One side has Marie standing in a room looking out a royally curtained window to a view of Versailles in the background. Another side has a young Marie with a bird perched on her finger surrounded by a rose arbor label. Another side has soft pink fleur de lis paper with Marie standing before a painting of the gazebo and lake near the Petit Trianon, Marie's chateau at Versailles. The painting is an actual scan of the original that we own that was painted in 1849. The final side has a fabulous lady finger cake on a gold cake stand surrounded by roses. Marie appears in the oval above. •The square Wooden box measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" The bottom half of the box is covered in 4 different Marie designs • The top is covered with striped fleur-de-lis paper and is topped ribbons and a feather boa surrounding the Pink and Green colored glass Flower handle. • The inside is painted black • The edges are inked to give it a shabby chic look. • It stands on 4 pink painted round ball feet • The piece is decoupaged and sealed for protection.
