Close your eyes, take a deep breath and think about he exotic flavors of India. This recipe box is one of our exclusive designs. It features the kaleidoscope of mystical flavors of India transalated into paper. The sweet, sharp, tart, fragrant, pungent tastes and smells of earthy roots, aromatic spices, sandalwood, cinnamon, jasmine, saffron and incense. Although we are calling this a recipe box it could be used as a trinket box or it could hold address cards.

We will personalize the inside lid with a label shaped like the Taj Mahal and afaux pin with a jeweled elephant that is made with coordinating paper. You can choose the wording you want on the label.

This box is designed to hold your personal recipe's written on 3" x 5" index cards.

• Wooden box measures 4 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" deep and 6 1/2" wide
• The bottom half of the box is covered in lime green and aqua turqoise Indian patterns.
• The top sides are covered in orange paper featuring dangling beds on the front. The top lid is a hot pink sari pattern featuring a jeweled elephant.
• The inside is painted dark turquoise with a personalized label on the inside lid.
• The edges are inked to give it a distressed look.
• The piece is decoupaged and sealed for protection.

The boxes are covered in designer paper, inked on the edges for a distressed look and coated all over with a seal to protect them from water. (Please only use a damp cloth to wipe them down - do not immerse in water)
